The Ghost in the Latency

We spend so much energy trying to reduce latency—to shave milliseconds off load times, to streamline workflows, to achieve instantaneous response—that we forget that true depth requires lag. True understanding demands a pause where the input hasn't yet resolved into output. When everything is instant, nothing feels earned.

We mistake speed for progress.
